Antique Owl

Beady eyed bird looking for collectables and design stuff

Happy Jubilee Liz!

I hope you’ve all been having a really lovely long weekend courtesy of HRH!

I’m not usually a royalist, but you’ve got to hand it to Liz for giving us an extra day off; and if there’s one British institution I can really get behind it’s Liberty London so I wanted to show you these gorgeous designs that they’ve dug out from their archives. Designed by Lucienne Day for the occasion of the Queen’s coronation they scream 1950s fabric pattern, with a royal twist.

I’ve chosen my favourite two designs here, but you can see the rest at Liberty’s facebook page.
