Welsh tapestry and new/old pieces at Liberty

This morning, from the comfort of my bed and with Dr John’s new album on the stereo I did a bit of online owling and came across the gorgeous Blodwen homewares which are now on sale at Liberty.

They are part of Blodwen’s new “Sea Shanty” collection which includes enamelware and some welsh tapestry blankets which I really love. I’m a fan of welsh tapestry since I managed to pick up this awesome wool coat at a vintage stall at End of the Road festival a couple of years ago.

I like that it’s a spring colour but it’s really warm and helps to brighten up horrible dark wintery days!

The coat comes from Trefriw Woolen Mills who specialise in amanzing tapestry and weaving. It says that it’s a size 18 and it comes up really large on me, but I like it that way, just like wearing a cosy blanket!

If you want to find out more about Blodwen you can like Liberty on Facebook to view some awesome pictures or alternatively shop them on Liberty.
