Beady eyed bird looking for collectables and design stuff

Milton Keynes Shopping Centre…

I’ve been doing a little online owling this morning, specifically searching for G-Plan furniture and vintage filing cabinets. But on my journeys I came across this awesome vintage bus blind on Metroretro.

I have to say, living in Bedford, I’ve definately got a soft spot for Milton Keynes shopping Centre, which has changed a lot over the years but which still reminds me of shopping when I was little. The (unfortunately less busy) end is inhabited by a huge John Lewis and has some great 1960/70s tiled decorarion, which was of course immortalised in Cliff Richard’s Wired for Sound Video.

(I would love to roller skate in MK shopping centre!)
