Stockholm owling – Part 2

A big part of going to Stockholm was trying to immerse myself in the design while I was there, which meant if we saw a furniture store my little owlet legs were straight in there. I didn’t take a note of the name but a little Google Street viewing reminded me that it was on Nybrogatan and called Nordiska Galleriet.

The following are some of the highlights which we spied…

This shop was a complete dream and I could have spent all day there if given the chance. Love these vintage style restaurant lamps in bright colours.

These tables are ace because the tops remove to become trays, so you can bring in a load of drinks and set them straight down. Love the thought behind it, especially as the Swedish seem to love their graphic trays.

Doesn’t look particularly comfortable but is more of a talking point… like all designer chairs? lol.
