Antique Owl

Beady eyed bird looking for collectables and design stuff

Charity shop owling in and around St. Austell, Cornwall

While not strictly antique owling; I do very much enjoy charity shop owling, and it’s a complete joy when you find a charity shop which is full of treasures. There are a couple of stores like that locally, though I wont give away where they are just yet!

When I go charity shop owling I generally focus on two areas, furniture, ceramics, records and books, here are just a few finds from my trip in and around St. Austell’s charity shops…

Love this record, loved the cover first, but the music is cool too – a little crackly but that adds to its charm!

Really love the graphic cover on this record and when something this good costs less than 50p you really have no choice, right?

Becoming a bit of a fan of locally produced records, especially as Cornwall seem to have an abundance of them. Not sure what this sounds like, but am loving the view on the album cover.

Love the cover of this book, though not sure what the ship has to do with anything…
